★★★★✰   It was a well-balanced programme, featuring different kinds of discipline for future corps de ballet dancers, and honouring veteran choreographers as well as contemporary ones.

★★★★✰   Wink, best seen from above, is a valuable addition to BRB’s repertoire. So is José Limon’s The Moor’s Pavane, created in 1949.

…a jewel of a performance from Nao Sakuma. Her movement is beautifully musical, weighted and controlled – she hardly ever needs to do adjustments, so precise is she.
