For the festival Brigitte Lefèvre chose an eclectic mixture of popular and audacious programmes from twelve different companies – mainly regional French companies... some smaller independent groups and international companies from Korea, Argentina and Spain.
What, you may wonder, is the point of it all?
I hope the company return to London, and if they do, I hope they bring some other Forsythe work.
Symphony in Three Movements: This collaboration of two of the giants of 20th century art (Balanchine, Stravinsky) was clearly a marriage made in heaven, and thanks to Boston Ballet’s newest production, we got to attend the nuptials.
